In Kuala Lumpur. It’s 10.30am and i woke up not long ago. I’m still finding myself sleeping around 3am and waking up at around 9-10am local time. Even after two weeks here my internal body clock hasn’t reset properly. It does not help that i’ve done very little to change that…

Lately i’ve been refocusing on a couple of small projects, this blog and my note-taking app, Memento. The latter i aim to open-source in the very near future, and i’m trying to put it in such a shape that it would require little maintenance once i launch it.

Introducing new changes to the site, including this Now page, has also been front-of-mind. I still want this site to reflect how i think and what i care about. Some of the changes are big swings IMO and they might not survive the next few weeks or months. But for now they excite me and i’m leaving it at that.

I’m going through a catch-up period in my reading, mostly fantasy and sci-fi series i’ve neglected over the years. My current plan is to try and go through the first book in the series quickly and then figure out which ones i’m interested in still going with. So far only one series, Shadow of the Leviathan by Robert Jackson Bennett, has survived. Looking forward to seeing what else sticks with the remaining series.
