In Berlin. It’s almost 2am and i’ve just arrived back at my hotel room. Somewhat inebriated, certainly, but most of the buzz i’m currently experiencing is the absolute sheer joy that was watching the Norway vs Brazil game in person.

It was the first game of this World Cup i’ve been able to watch fully and with others, and it more than delivered. The game was superb but the electric cheers and their chants of “RO!” from the Norwegian fans as well as the hype excitement from the Brazilians made it a very fun experience. That i got to see it with my Norwegian friend made it ever so much better.

Currently working on the bi-annual Transparency Report at work, and with numerous changes this time around, it’s going to be a much more smooth and fun experience.

In other areas, i’m trying to find an alternative to Sublime. I love the way they surface connected ideas and works, there’s really only Are.na that i’ve come across that does something as cool as they do. But i have some concerns around their longivity as well as pricing.

Finished reading the excellent The Singapore Story, and having had it recommended by a Singaporean during my last visit there, it’s definitely given me a different idea and view of Singapore and its history and how it got to be the way it did. Highly recommended.
